Ming-Chi Kuo broke the news that AirPods Pro 2: a new look, finally supports ALAC lossless format

In the latest research report, Apple analyst Guo Mingchi broke the news about AirPods Pro 2, which is Apple’s second-generation noise-reducing earplugs.

According to his prediction, AirPods Pro 2 will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. New selling points include a new design, support for Apple Lossless (ALAC) format, and a charging box that can sound for users to find.

In fact, since June last year, Apple Music opened 75 million Lossless Music (ALAC) to subscribers. At that time, because AirPods/Pro/Max did not support this format, users strongly complained.

As for vocal search, it seems to be unified with iPhone, iPad, AirTag, etc., and join the “find” network.

Guo Mingchi also stated in the report that Luxshare Precision and Goertek will be the mainstay of AirPods Pro 2. It is estimated that the number of new products will exceed 18-20 million in 2022.
