1 min readWith the third beta release of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura to developers, Apple has added support for iCloud shared libraries, a new feature that was not available in the initial beta.
iCloud Shared Gallery is designed to make it easier to share photos with your family, and is available on iOS 16, iPadOS 16 or Once you install iOS 16, iPadOS 16 or macOS Ventura, you can set it up in the Settings app. In the Photos app, scroll down to “Shared Gallery” and click on it.
From there, click “Start Settings” to add participants you want to share with. You can invite up to five other people, and all participants can add, edit, or delete content in the shared library.
After you select the people you want to share with, you can choose to move photos to the shared gallery. You can move all your photos and videos, including selected people or photos from selected dates, or you can select photos manually.
Once photos have been added, you can preview the library before sharing it and then formally invite participants using the messaging app or sharing link.
