Modified version of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 third beta released

Apple today released a modified version of the third beta of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 to developers for testing purposes. The beta was released along with the first public beta of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 under version number 20A5312j.

Registered developers can download iOS and iPadOS 16 profiles from the Apple Developer Center, and once installed, the beta will be available for download via OTA.

iOS 16 introduces a new lock screen that offers a higher level of personalization and customization through widgets, notification redesigns, and fonts and colors that can be adjusted over time. Multiple lock screens are supported, similar to watch dials, and can be associated with focus mode.

There are a host of other new features in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, with a full release due in the fall.
