Apple is still working on an iMac display with a larger target market of professionals

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is still working on an iMac with a larger display and a more powerful chip, aimed at professionals.

In March 2021, Apple discontinued the iMac Pro, and in March 2022, it discontinued the 27-inch Intel iMac, leaving the 24-inch iMac with the M1 chip as the only remaining iMac model. iMac model. For now, Apple has replaced the 27-inch iMac with the Mac Studio and its companion Studio Display.

Gurman also made predictions for the upcoming M2 Mac, which includes new Mac mini models with the M2 and M2 Pro chips, new Mac mini models with the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, and the new M2 Ultra and ” M2Extreme” chips in the new Mac Pro.

He expects the updated 24-inch iMac to be one of the first M3 Series Macs, which will also include an updated 13-inch MacBook Air, a new 15-inch MacBook Air, and a potential new 12-inch laptop that is still in the early stages of development.
