Apple offers HomePod beta to its public beta testers for the first time

In addition to the first iOS 16 public beta, Apple today released the HomePod software 16 update for public beta testers. This marks the first time Apple has made a beta version of HomePod available to its public beta testers.
The HomePod Software 16 update can be downloaded from Apple’s beta site after installing the iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 software update. From there, users will need to go to the Home app, select the Settings option, and then select Software Update.
HomePod users who have the iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 update can register their HomePod mini to the beta program.
According to the public beta site, the HomePod Software 16 beta is only available for the HomePod mini and cannot be downloaded on larger HomePods.
