First public beta release of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16

Apple today released the first beta versions of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 to public beta testers, the first time since the Worldwide Developers Conference that iOS 16 beta versions have been made available to the public.

Three beta releases have now been made available to developers, and the first public beta overlaps with the third developer beta.

Users who sign up for Apple’s beta testing program can download updates to iOS and iPadOS 16 via OTA after installing the appropriate credentials from the beta site.

In addition to this, Apple also launched the first public beta of macOS 13 Ventura, as well as the first public beta of tvOS 16 and watchOS 9.
