iOS 16 now has a special bonus for Apple Fitness+ services

Starting with the third developer beta, iOS 16 now has a dedicated bonus for Apple Fitness+ services.

In iOS 15, activity rewards were earned by completing specific challenges, such as setting a new moving circle record, having a perfect workout week, or reaching 100 moving goals. These awards were available regardless of whether or not a Fitness+ workout was performed, but in iOS 16, Apple is offering users a new way to celebrate their Fitness+ achievements.

The new awards, which were added in the third developer beta of iOS 16, involve specific Fitness+ workouts and categories that can be identified by their unique shape.

It’s unclear how many Fitness+ awards are up for grabs, but MacRumors has seen new awards for the number of Fitness+ workout milestones completed, including total workouts across categories and individual categories, and more.
