According to information on October 12, Instagram is trying a new feature that will prompt users when the server finds a huge technical problem.

Instagram revealed that when “people are suspicious of whether the phone is in question”, the alert will be found in the user’s behavior outline as a concern. As you can see in the figure below, the alert is shown as a sticky message, reporting that the user has found a system question.

Facebook suffered multiple global downtimes this month, and its subsidiaries Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger were all affected. In a very tense downtime, Facebook revealed that the basic reason was to reconcile the construction changes on the backbone router of the webpage communication between the data centers.

Instagram revealed that it will try this function in the United States in the “next few months”, and if it works, it will probably be implemented more broadly. It is not yet clear whether Facebook’s other services will launch similar care.
