Samsung to make large investment in Mexico to increase manufacturing of household appliances

Samsung continues to improve the quality of its manufacturing facilities around the world by making large investments.

Samsung has manufacturing operations in Mexico, where the plant is mainly used to manufacture household appliances. In order to increase production, the company will now make a large investment in Mexico.

According to Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, Samsung will invest $500 million in Mexico to increase the manufacture of household appliances. He further said that the investment will be made in Queretaro, central Mexico. Ebrard went on to say that he has held a meeting with the CEO of Samsung Electronics to discuss the details of this partnership.

The company already has a TV assembly plant in Tijuana, Mexico, with an annual production capacity of about 19 million units. Samsung’s complete North American TV strategy depends on this plant, and Tijuana produces TVs that are sold throughout the continent, while Africa also happens to be one of Samsung’s largest TV markets.
