Microsoft has developed a new feature, Windows 11 can adjust the volume directly through the taskbar. Users can use the mouse to scroll directly on the volume icon to adjust the device volume, or use the touchpad to control the volume directly on the taskbar.

It is reported that this feature will be launched first in the Insider development channel along with Windows11Build22478. Currently, the taskbar volume pop-up window is still very simple, but Microsoft has been planning to enable multimedia playback controls for the taskbar pop-up window, allowing users to directly play, pause, and skip media through the taskbar.

In addition, Microsoft is also developing a new volume pop-up window for Windows 11. It seems to introduce the WinUI control, which makes the pop-up window match the appearance of Windows 11, but remains unchanged in terms of functionality.
