According to reports, the Korean Food and Drug Safety Agency granted a production and sales license to the Modena new crown vaccine “SPIKEVAX” produced by Samsung Biologics on the 13th. “SPIKEVAX” is the first approved mRNA vaccine in South Korea. It is the same model as the Modena new crown vaccine developed by Modena Pharmaceuticals of the United States, which was approved by the Food and Drug Administration on May 21 this year. At that time, taking the South Korea-US summit in May as an opportunity, Samsung Biologics and Modena signed a contract for the production of new crown vaccines.
