Microsoft releases updates for 5 Sysinternals system tools

Today, there are media reports that Microsoft has pushed an update for 5 Sysinternals system tools. This update fixes the existing faults of the system tools and provides several new functions. This update will include five system tools including Active Directory Explorer, Autoruns, CacheSet, Process Monitor and Sysmon.

In terms of new features, Autoruns can open .arn format files through the command line and switch Active Setup items after this update, while Process Monitor improves the dialog navigation of the filter, and the UI interaction between the queue title and the dialog box is also carried out. Some optimizations have been made.

In addition to the new features, some problems in the current version have also been fixed.

The packaging crash of Active Directory Explorer; the crash of Autoruns; the regression of CacheSet have all been fixed, and the ID 16 content of Sysmon has also been restored.

It is reported that Sysinternals is a system tool provided by Microsoft for administrators and IT operation and maintenance personnel since 1996.

Through a series of free system tools included in Sysinternals, administrators can intuitively understand the current operating status of the system’s current registry, tool set and other basic information, which facilitates the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the system for related personnel.
