LG is developing three displays, which may be built for Apple

According to the whistleblower @dylandkt, LG is developing three new independent displays that may eventually be used by Apple, including a display based on the current 24-inch iMac, a display based on the upcoming 27-inch iMac, and a 32-inch display. The inch display may be the new Pro Display XDR using Apple chips.

The whistleblower said that these displays are currently packaged in unbranded boxes, but he believes that given their specifications are similar to iMac and Pro Display XDR models, these displays may be provided for Apple.

 

He added that the 27-inch and 32-inch displays seem to be mini LED screens that support 120Hz variable refresh rate, while the 32-inch display seems to be equipped with an unspecified Apple chip.

 

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple is developing a consumer-grade stand-alone display that is more affordable than Pro Display XDR.
