Samsung Galaxy S flagship devices sell well after merging Note series

Samsung has been focusing on its flagship devices, merging the Note line with the Galaxy S flagship devices in the first quarter of 2022 with the launch of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The brand implemented the stylus feature of the Note line in the Galaxy S22, reasoning that it might not make sense to maintain a separate product line just for the stylus feature.

The move is a blessing for Samsung, as they have sold more than 11 million units so far, a number that far exceeds the sales figures of any Note series phone.

After the Note 7 battery explosion in 2017, Samsung moved to a Note 8 version after taking significant quality control measures. the Note 8 boosted the credibility of Samsung’s S Pen stylus, selling more than 10 million units.

The device sold surprisingly well considering its starting price of $1,199.99. Samsung has proven so successful at selling flagship phones that in June of this year they also offered a $125 price cut for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
