UAE’s Hope Mars rover returns new batch of scientific data

On July 1 local time, the UAE Space Agency announced that the “Hope” Mars probe returned a new batch of scientific data, involving the latest observations of Mars’ auroral cover, solar energetic particles, galactic cosmic rays, as well as scientific observations of Mars’ high-altitude dust and cloud motion.
The UAE Space Agency said that the data results once again demonstrate the high quality and efficiency of the scientific exploration capabilities of the HOPE rover, which will continue to monitor Mars and return the latest images and data.
The UAE’s HOPE Mars rover is scheduled to launch in July 2020 and enter science orbit in March 2021, followed by two years of data collection.
